01 · About

Alya (hereinafter "the Service", "the App") is operated by Louis Hubert Cottineau (TIN: 302340116), a sole proprietor based at 5 Sairme Street, Tbilisi, Georgia.

By downloading, installing or using this Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

02 · Service Description

Alya is a personal astrology application for iOS. From the birth date, time and place you provide, it computes an astrological natal chart on your device and presents readings based on it, including a daily horoscope, key insights, tarot, compatibility, an astrocartography map, optional face/palm readings, and an ask-anything feature. The readings combine deterministic astrological calculations with AI-written explanations.

Alya computes your chart on your device. A server component is used to generate the AI-written text and to process an optional face/palm photo (see Privacy Policy).

03 · Entertainment & No Advice

Alya is provided for entertainment and self-reflection. Astrology is a symbolic tradition and is not a science. While the underlying calculations are performed accurately, the interpretations are not statements of fact or predictions of real events.

You are solely responsible for any decision you make. We are not liable for any consequence of acting, or not acting, on the basis of a reading.

04 · Terms of Use

• You must be at least 16 years old to use this Service.
• You are responsible for the information you enter and for choosing whether to add a photo.
• If you add a face or palm photo, it must be a photo of yourself (the person whose chart is being read). Do not upload photos of other people without their consent.
• You must not use the Service for illegal or harmful purposes.
• You must not modify, reverse engineer, decompile or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the App, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
• You must not redistribute, resell or sublicense the App outside of the App Store.

05 · Your Content & Photos

Alya does not host public user content. The data you enter (birth details, answers, preferences) is stored locally on your device. If you add a face or palm photo, it is kept on your device and sent to our processing provider only to generate that reading; the raw image is not stored on our side (see Privacy Policy). You retain all rights to your own content.

06 · Subscription

Alya offers a paid subscription that unlocks your full chart and every reading. The current features, pricing and billing cycle are displayed in the App before any purchase.

Subscriptions are sold and billed exclusively through the App Store. Apple Inc. is the merchant of record for all in-app purchases and subscriptions made through Alya on iOS.

• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
• No refund is given for the unused portion of a current period.

Refund requests are handled by Apple and subject to Apple's refund policy: support.apple.com/en-us/HT204084

Prices displayed in the App are VAT-inclusive where applicable. Prices may vary by region and are set based on Apple's local tiers.

07 · Free Trial (if offered)

If a free trial is advertised, it is granted once per Apple ID. Any unused portion of the trial is forfeited if you purchase a subscription before the trial ends. Auto-renewal into a paid plan happens at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.

08 · Termination

We reserve the right to suspend access to the Service or remove the App from distribution at any time, in particular if you violate these Terms.

You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the App, which immediately and permanently deletes all locally stored data. Uninstalling does not cancel an active subscription, to cancel, go to your Apple ID → Subscriptions.

09 · Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or any decision made in reliance on a reading, resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the Service.

10 · Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11 · Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tbilisi, Georgia.
